3 years after over 200 Chibok schoolgirls were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists, reports say 82 have just been released! According to a government official close to negotiation, the Chibok girls were released after Nigerian government negotiated with Boko Haram terrorists.

 

Source say the released girls are now in military custody in Banki, a town in northeast Nigeria. They will be transferred to Abuja where they will receive medical check up before they will now be reunited with their families.

 

It will be recalled that the girls were kidnapped in 2014, when 50 managed to escape. Another 21 were released last October, after negotiations with the Red Cross.

 

We now wait to hear more info on the returned girls, as their families will be overly anxious to re-unite with them!
