This past week was a time of sober reflection for the families and friends of Tagbo, Dj Olu and Chime as all 3 lost their lives. It was also a time of sober reflection from Nigerian singer Davido who was with Tagbo few hours before his death, as he took to social media to say how sober he was about the demise of his friends. Davido and Tagbo are friends, but an undisclosed source says Tagbo’s death has an atom of How to get away with Murder, and is definitely a case of Unintentional Murder.
The Nigerian entertainment industry received the news of their death in shock, but what got the attention of people more was how Davido was being linked to the death of Tagbo.
They were all hanging out together, drinking and having fun, unaware of what was about to happen. And despite the fact that Tagbo had over 40 shots of tequila and was very high, it’s strange that he died just like that!
Despite all the drama, lies, denials and events that has played through and the autopsy report saying Tagbo died of suffocation….some questions still remain unanswered. For example;
“If Tagbo died of suffocation, who/what suffocated him?”
Now, although CCTV footage showed Davido leaving the club without Tagbo, it was Davido’s boys that took him to the hospital with Davido’s car after he died.
Another unanswered question is; “What happened after Davido left Tagbo and the other guys at the club? Who was Tagbo with the very last minute he died?”
Tagbo was really high, but since the autopsy report says he died of suffocation, that really raises an eyebrow. Don’t really know if it’s medically possible for alcohol/drugs to suffocate someone but we really have to shed light on a source that said Tagbo died because he was left in a locked car with no air-conditioning or space for air to come in. They innocently left him in the car to cool off on the alcohol, but unaware that there was no way for air to enter the car he was locked in.
Being high, weak and receiving no air was definitely a death sentence or Unintentional Murder.
But since the dead cannot speak, we’ll probably continue to recite death poems and never know the real cause of his death.
But this is a time for everyone; Artiste, DJ, OAP, Entertainer etc. to learn from this and many other cases like that of Dagrin, that as you live the fast life, tomorrow is not certain.
So go easy on the drugs, alcohol and any other thing that constitute the fast life, because today you know, tomorrow you don’t.
