As Lagos turns 50, the Eyo Festival will be held Today 20th May 2017 at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.
Many people are worried if it is ok for them to leave their home today, as it is fared to have some atom of violence, and mostly because of the myth that the festival is being held to replace a king, thus leading to head sacrifice. Well, if you must know, it is safe for everyone to come out today! and don’ts at the festival venue, so as to avoid violence and misunderstanding.
Lagos state government has released some do’s and don’ts at the festival venue, so as to avoid violence and misunderstanding. They include;
