The 2018 world cup qualifier game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria versus the Indomitable Lions Of Cameroon was exciting to watch, from the Nigerian perspective. Nigeria welcomed Cameroon at Akwa Ibom Stadium, Uyo state, but were not fair to their visitors as the trashed them 4-0.
The first goal came from Odion Ighalo at the 29th minute, followed by a second one by John Mikel Obi in the 43rd minute just before the first half. The Super Eagles continued their quest for the 2018 world cup in the second half with more confidence, as they secured 2 more goals from Victor Moses after an impressive counter attack, and Kelechi Iheanacho sealing the game with a goal in the 77th minute.
It has been a while since the Super Eagles scored this much goal, and Nigerians are so impressed. Hope they continue with the spirit of this game, and continue to do Nigerians proud.
